LS-Polar is LASEA’s polarization control module, engineered to optimize laser absorption when machining angled or recessed surfaces. By converting linear polarization into circular, LS-Polar ensures consistent trench quality, uniform energy absorption, and smoother results even in the most complex geometries.
Consistency where linear fails
When a beam hits a surface head-on, polarization has little impact. But on angled surfaces or trench walls, linear polarization creates uneven reflection and poor absorption leading to inconsistent machining and elliptical deformations. LS-Polar solves this by stabilizing the beam’s absorption throughout the process.
Circular polarization for uniform absorption
Achieve homogenous energy delivery in trenches, holes, or tilted surfaces, no matter the angle or direction.
Compensates elliptical distortions
